Can I find a link to the dedicated Confluence page in the Jira issue?
Yes! After you trigger a rule set up in AutoPage, it will only take a few seconds for a Confluence link to appear in Jira. This way, you do not have to search your associated Confluence space—you can simply click the link in the Jira issue and jump right to the Confluence page.
Can I build custom Jira automations for specific page creations from Jira in Confluence?
AutoPage supports Confluence page creation via automation. Just use the created webhook from the app and insert it into your Jira automation rule.
Does the app support Jira Service Management?
Yes! AutoPage can be used with JSM tickets. Some teams use AutoPage specifically for Jira bug tracking, incident management, or managing change requests in Jira Service Management.
Is AutoPage a Jira and Confluence integration? Do I need to install the app in both Jira and Confluence?
Yes! AutoPage needs to be integrated and installed in both Confluence and Jira. Simply install the free AutoPage Helper app in Confluence, and you’ll be ready to go!
Do I need to update the associated Confluence page when I change a field in the Jira ticket?
No! Once a Confluence page is created from Jira, the Confluence page and Jira issue will be synchronized live. This means that once you change a field value that is also displayed on a Confluence page via the AutoPage macro, it will automatically update in Confluence.
What should I do if I do not find the AutoPage macro for my Jira field?
If there is a Jira field type we do not support yet, please feel free to raise a request in our service desk, and we will be happy to help!
